BCI Holds Think Pink Day

Aiming to increase awareness about breast cancer, the importance of early detection and adopting a healthy lifestyle, BCI’s Human Resources Department organized “Think Pink Day” for its female employees.

“Think Pink Day” stems from BCI’s corporate social responsibility strategy to raise awareness about breast cancer, and to support King Hussein Cancer Foundation efforts.  BCI hosted a specialist to talk about breast cancer detection, in addition to offering a medical examination through KHCF medical staff in Amman for the employees’ females family members.

Mrs. Rana Sweis, Group Human Resources Director, BCI Mobile commented: “BCI is keen to support King Hussein Cancer Foundation efforts in fighting cancer, and as we care for our employees’ health, we are glad to raise awareness about breast cancer and offer medical checkup, as we believe that early detection is an important step in fighting cancer”.

Mr. Fadi Baransi, CEO of BCI Mobile Group commented by saying: “I am proud with all the efforts exerted by our company for October awareness month, whether it’s done internally or externally. This month we carried many initiatives to support King Hussein Cancer Foundation efforts including: donating a percentage of our showrooms sales during this month, in addition to various initiatives on a group level executed in Jordan, Palestine and Iraq”.
